After coming back from DC, on Sunday there was a Renaissance Fair at the ELI. This event was organized by the Renaissance club of Newark. Jim Matier (on of tutors here) was the head of the event. The fair was smaller than I expected, yet it's OK. There were some interesting activities to see and to try. The knight fighting in armors was not that exciting like I thought. It was quite slow and end very fast. The most interesting part is Archery.
I had a chance to try to shoot a bow. I had never done this before. It's very awesome! Although the first few shots I missed, I could hit the target after in later shots. I had just realized that it took a lot of power to bend a bow. Moreover, to shoot accurately was much more harder.
