Food Bank

It's time to do some charity activities! Food Bank of Delaware was a place that provided food for many poor guys in this state (even the state was very small). We came to the food bank by bus from UD since 8.00 AM. There were many tasks to do here.

1. Assemble boxes and send them to the assembly line.
2. Put foods into the assembled boxes.
3. Collect empty food boxes.
4. Store filled boxes in to the stores.

My task here was the first person in the assembly line. I filled a bag of cereal and a can of pineapple into each box. Even if it sounded very easy, it might not be that such easy. The number of boxes I had to fill each minute was 6-7. I had to turn back and forth to pick up cereals and the cans. Moreover, the cereals which was in big bag ran out very fast. I had to open new boxes nearly every two minutes.

Finally, we packed 250 boxes of foods within only 1 hour! Wow, very good job! Although we all were tired from waking up in the early morning and did these jobs, I thought everyone seemed to be happy to work together. Before we left the Food Bank, we took some pictures to keep in our memories.
