Finally, the day to New York city had come! I always dream of Manhattan as a very big, civilized, beautiful city. As in many blockbuster movies: Spider Man, Fastastic4, this city should be very fascinating. However, when I arrived here, everything was opposite. This city was like a big trash! It was very dirty, crowded, traffic jams, and constructions. It was very different from DC which was very clean, beautiful city. I arrived NYC about 10.00 PM by bus from UD.
The Statue of Liberty might be the most famous place in Manhattan. I took a free ferry to see her even if I couldn't be on the island her stands. It took about 1 hour to go back and fourth between the two shores of Manhattan. The sunlight was very strong, so I had to wear a cap and sunglasses :p.
Ground Zero was a memorable place of the 9/11 tragedy. There was only a construction site which removing the reckless of the World Trade Center buildings. Nothing was interesting to see, so I had just taken one picture, and continued walking to other places.
At last, our triumphant to find a Thai restaurant found an end. In China Town, there were two Thai restaurant I saw. Thai Angel Cuisine seemed to be more Thai, then we chose it.
Our decision was correct. All waiters were Thai, and the foods taste were very Thai! They were spicy. I really missed Thai food since I cam here.
The last place of our trip is the Central Park in the middle of Manhattan. It was the only one park in the island, I thought. There were many artists here waiting for drawing pictures for pedestrians. Nevertheless, the park was quite dirty, and filled with lots of people. We stayed there about 30 minutes and went back to the meeting point at the Empire State building because it was near 7.00 PM now. Let's go home...
