My second class is EAP VI Reading & Writing class. From left to right, top to bottom, Ken Cranker (the teacher), Yiam (Thai friend who study in Columbia University, wow!), Dalia (Turkish girl), Hey Min (Korean girl), P'Arm (Thai police), P'Kluay (Oceanologist), Ji Hye (from my first class), P'Aow (Pharmachist), Ibrahim (Sau' guy), me, and Abdhullasiz (Sau or something?). Unforetunately, this picture does not include Pinn, who left earlier.
This class specialized on academic writing. I had tons of assignments. Most of them were essays. I had just realized that there were many types of essay: persuasive, evaluative, process, etc. However, atmosphere in class was very nice. Ken was very funny (he said his name is oxymoron which means two opposite meaning words grouped together). He was a potential teacher and well-prepared. I learned a lot from this class, and I felt more confident to write academically. Thank you Ken.
