Hey! 2 days ago is the birthday of SMILEY! :-D (sorry about my late response).The inventor of smiley is Scott Fahlman. He invented it on Sept. 19, 1982. Scott Fahlman is a professor of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. Its original came from trying to express humorous in the message. Just from the tiny beginning, it became the most used sign in the cyberspace nowadays.
