Hoover Dam

"Do you know Hoover Dam?", my friend asked me.

"No, never heard of it.", I replied.

"OK, have you watched 'Transformers'?"

"Oh! yeah I have."

"That's the damn dam in the movie! It's the place that Megatron is kept!"

Hoover Dam used to be the largest dam in the world. It resides exactly between Nevada and Arizona. So, I can walk across 2 time zones (Mountain & Pacific). It's huge and it was very cold when I was there.

Wow! I already on my trip!

Yeah! I did it! I already finished my exams and presentations. On December 18, I depart Pittsburgh to Denver, where Benz (Pinn's brother) lives. We go to US Air Force Academy on the next day (Dec 19, 2007). The cadet school is very nice because it resides exactly in the middle of the Rocky mountain. The view are incredible! Moreover, the school has another attractive building which is called "Cadet Chapel." It's a modern-designed chapel. We also go inside to see the state-of-the-art architecture. And the next day we will depart from Denver to Las Vegas ~ Wow!

Final Exam Period

Finally, the final exam has come. It's so scary for me because I have a lot of work to do. I have 3 projects due (Software Engineering, Privacy, and Applied Information Assurance). I rarely sleep during this time. That's so bad .... :-(((

The final exam takes place since from Dec 5 (SE) to Dec 14 (VLIS) and I also have the PPLT final project presentation on Dec 17. I hope to finish all my work soon because I will be on my trip to west coast. -_-"

Snow Is All Around!

During this week (Dec 3-7, 2007), there is snowing all day. The result is everything is turned to white! Wow! I never see the world like this before. It completely makes me excited. The temperature is also very low (sometimes it reaches -7 c!). I will go out to build a snow man!

PPLT Poster Fair

On Tuesday Dec 4, 2007, I have a poster fair (showing my final project in class with the big poster board) for Privacy, Policy, Law, and Technology class. I am very nervous because I am afraid that my project is not good enough (-_-"). My project is an extension for Firefox called "FoxBeacon." Other people's projects are also interesting. However, this fair just lasts for 80 mins (class period).

Thanksgiving night

P'Pop, P'VJ, Park, and me go to wait in front of Best Buy in the night of Thanksgiving (Nov 23 2007). We are buying to buy a lot of discounted items just only for this day. The shop will open at 5 AM, and there are a lot of people since midnight. After a long wait in snow (it's damn cold!!!), the shop opens at 5 AM. We go and grab all the items we want. At last, we all spent totally about 1000$! Wow!

Loy Kratong + Halloween Party

Thai students at CMU have Loy Kratong + Halloween Party (wow! duo cultural party! never seen before). This party has some interesting activities like shows of freshman, fancy competition. I also attened the fancy by dressing as a "RAPPER." Ha ha ha. That's very funny to do. Prie, P'Choob, and me also sing a rap song (Prie and me are beatbox...).
How fun of the party! I want to have party like this more!!!
